Toledo, OH (June 25, 2024) – Emergency crews were summoned to the scene of an auto accident in Toledo that ended in injuries. Authorities were informed of the crash at around 2:10 p.m. on June 23.
According to police reports, a white 2024 Mazda CX-5 was traveling eastbound on Arlington Avenue during the afternoon hours. As the vehicle attempted to turn left from the right lane near Library Circle, it was struck by a gray 2014 Toyota Prius. One person was injured in the crash. The victim was transported to the University of Toledo Medical Center. Authorities identified the victim as 66-year-old Mary Herrera. The driver of the Mazda was cited for a marked lane violation.
