Toledo, OH (May 7, 2024) – The Toledo Police Department confirmed that 25-year-old Kortnie Rianne Sammons of Oak Harbor, Ohio, was injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident reported on Sunday morning, May 5.
Just after 3:15 a.m., a blue 2020 Chevrolet Blazer was traveling southbound on Michigan Street while using the left travel lane. At the same time, a white 2008 Subaru Crosstrek was traveling on the roadway in the right lane. As the Chevrolet Blazer approached the intersection of Madison Avenue, the Subaru Crosstrek made an unexpected left turn in front of the Chevrolet Blazer. As a result, the two vehicles collided. One person was injured in the accident. The victim, identified as Sammons, was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital for medical care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
