Toledo, OH (May 17, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Toledo ended in injuries. The Toledo Police Department was called to the scene at around 8:00 a.m. on May 15.
Police reports indicate that a gray 2007 Dodge Charger was traveling on Harvey Street during the morning hours. For unknown reasons, the driver of a black Cadillac sedan failed to stop at a stop sign while driving down Booth Avenue. As the Cadillac proceeded through the intersection, it crashed into the left front door and rear side of the Dodge Charger. The driver of the Cadillac fled the scene of the crash.
Injuries were reported as a result of the accident. Emergency medical services rendered aid to 44-year-old Antwon Watson. Watson was transported to St. Vincent Hospital for emergency treatment. Three children were also transported to area hospitals. The victims were identified as a 9-year-old female, a 6-year-old male, and an 8-year-old male. At this time, the accident is under investigation.
