Toledo, OH (June 12, 2024) – The Toledo Police Department confirmed that one woman was transported to an area hospital with injuries following a motor vehicle accident that occurred at around 7:50 a.m. on June 11.
Reports provided by authorities show that a 2018 Nissan Altima was traveling westbound on Bancroft Street. At the same time, a white 2012 Jeep Patriot was traveling eastbound. At North Detroit Avenue, the driver of the Jeep Patriot turned northbound. As the vehicle proceeded forward, it collided with the Nissan Altima. The impact of the crash caused the Nissan Altima to strike a pole. One person was hurt in the crash. EMS treated 24-year-old Aiyona Brownlee at the scene. Brownlee was then transported to Toledo Hospital for further care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
