Sylvania Twp., OH (April 21, 2024) – One person was transported to a local hospital with injuries following a motor vehicle accident that occurred early on Friday morning in the area of Sylvania Township. The incident was reported to law enforcement just before 3:40 a.m. on April 19.
According to police reports, a red 2019 Toyota Corolla was traveling eastbound on Interstate 475 while utilizing the right lane. As the vehicle proceeded through the area near mile marker 15, it collided with a 2021 semi-truck tractor-trailer owned by Spader Freight. One person involved in the accident was injured. The Toledo Fire Department EMS responded to the scene to provide care to 42-year-old Marques Williams. Williams was transported to Toledo Hospital for further treatment. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
