Streetsboro, OH (March 15, 2024) – One person has lost their life as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Thursday morning, March 14. The accident was reported to authorities at around 6:40 a.m.
According to local news sources, two Honda Accords collided on Ohio State Route 43, just south of Kennedy Road. Authorities arrived at the scene and located both vehicles with severe damage. Preliminary investigations indicate that one of the drivers was traveling north at the time of the accident when they attempted to pass slower-moving vehicles. As a result, the car collided head-on with a southbound vehicle.
A 63-year-old man involved in the accident was severely harmed. He was transported to University hospitals, where he died from his injuries. A second victim involved in the accident, a 33-year-old man, was transported to Summa Health Akron for emergency treatment of injuries. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
