Solon, OH (May 26, 2024) – A vehicle collision reported in the Solon area on Friday left one person hurt. The crash took place at around 12:15 p.m. on May 24.
Reports from the Solon Police Department show that a 2021 Volkswagen Atlas was traveling eastbound on Aurora Road, Ohio State Route 43. As the vehicle proceeded through the 38,800 block of Aurora Road, it approached a red light and stopped. A 2022 Subaru Outback was traveling behind the Volkswagen Atlas. The Subaru Outback also stopped at the red light.
The driver of a 2010 Mini Cooper failed to keep a clear distance ahead. As a result, the Mini Cooper crashed into the rear of the Subaru Outback, which in turn forced the Subaru Outback to strike the Volkswagen Atlas. One person was injured in the accident. The victim, 42-year-old Marzan Alamgir Wahab, was transported to Hillcrest Hospital for medical care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
