North Olmsted, OH (April 6, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported in North Olmsted caused injuries on Thursday morning. The crash was reported to the police at around 6:05 a.m. on April 4.
According to area law enforcement, a white 2019 Honda was traveling westbound on Interstate 480. As the vehicle approached Exit 2 for Lorain Avenue, it collided with a green 2024 Ford Maverick. One person involved in the accident was injured. EMS with the North Olmsted Fire Department responded to the scene of the crash and rendered aid to 59-year-old Sharon Kay Ruggles. The injured victim was then transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment. An investigation is underway to determine exactly what happened.
