Marion, OH (February 26, 2024) – An accident at the Marion County Fairgrounds & Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Saturday evening sent one person to a local hospital with injuries. The incident occurred at around 8:00 p.m. on February 24.
According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, a Monster Truck Wars staff member was run over by a monster truck at the fairgrounds located on East Fairground Street. The victim was significantly injured in the accident. He was transported by ambulance to Marion General Hospital. Due to the extent of his injuries, he was subsequently transported to Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio, for further treatment. At this time, the incident is still being investigated.
