Lucas Co., OH (June 24, 2024) – Authorities in Lucas County were requested at the scene of a motor vehicle accident that occurred during the early morning hours on Saturday, June 22.
According to police reports, at around 12:28 a.m., a black 2015 Kia Sorrento was traveling north on South Holland Sylvania Road. As the vehicle passed through a green light near Airport Highway, it was struck by a black 2005 Chrysler 300. The Chrysler 300 reportedly failed to stop at a red light at the intersection. EMS responded to the crash to care for the injured victims. 18-year-old Maerakle Paige Jackson-Kyles was transported to ProMedica Toledo Hospital for further care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
