Lawrence Twp., OH (April 21, 2024) – A bicycle accident reported in Lawrence Township on Friday evening claimed one person’s life. The incident was reported to officials in Tuscarawas County at around 10:05 p.m. on April 19.
Police reports show that Bartholomew James Kosins Snow was riding a bicycle southbound on Interstate 77 during the evening hours. For unknown reasons, he was struck by a 2014 Chevrolet Malibu. The impact of the crash sent the bicycle off the left side of the roadway and into a median. Mr. Snow was critically hurt in the accident. Despite medical efforts, he was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Tuscarawas County Coroner’s Office. The driver of the car, identified as 24-year-old Kyle Sisson, was not injured. The incident is being investigated by the Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office.
