Jackson Twp., OH (February 2, 2024) – The Jackson Township Police Department responded to the scene of a car crash that occurred on Wednesday and ended in injuries. Authorities were notified of the crash at around 3:25 p.m. on January 31.
According to police reports, a gray 2005 Nissan Frontier was traveling northbound on Brunnerdale Avenue. As the vehicle traveled through the intersection of Hills and Dales Road, a black 2015 Kia Soul committed a red light violation and crashed into it. Both vehicles were damaged in the crash and had to be towed from the scene. One person involved in the accident, identified as 19-year-old Trista Harkins of Massillon, Ohio, was injured. Jackson Township Fire Department EMS transported her to Mercy Hospital for medical care. The police department is investigating the incident.
