Independence, OH (June 23, 2024) – Authorities were informed that their assistance was needed on-site at a motor vehicle accident at around 1:00 p.m. on June 21.
According to reports from the Independent Police Department, a black 2020 Ford Escape was traveling east on Rockside Road. As the vehicle approached the intersection of Quarry Lane, it was struck by a red 2023 Ford F-250 pickup truck. One person involved in the crash was injured. EMS responded to the scene to render aid to 36-year-old Janay Elizabeth Moses. Moses was then transported to Metro Hospital for emergency care. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
