Hudson, OH (February 2, 2024) – Emergency crews were called to the site of a crash in Hudson that ended in injuries. The incident occurred at around 7:07 a.m. on January 31.
According to reports from the Hudson Police Department, a gray 2015 Jeep Cherokee was traveling west on West Streetsboro Street during the morning hours. At the same time, a white 2010 Chevrolet Malibu was heading east on the same roadway. As the vehicles approached the 500 block, the driver of the Chevrolet Malibu attempted to make a left turn.
The driver of the Jeep Cherokee reportedly failed to yield the right of way. As a result, the two vehicles collided. One person involved in the crash was injured. The victim, identified as 21-year-old Neavah Vlasaty of Cleveland, Ohio, was transported to Akron General Hospital by Hudson Fire Department EMS for emergency care. At this time, the crash is under investigation.
