Cleveland, OH (June 29, 2024) – Emergency crews were summoned to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the Cleveland area that claimed one person’s life. The crash occurred at around 2:20 p.m. on June 27.
Police reports indicate that a semi-truck tractor-trailer and one additional vehicle collided in the 4100 block of Payne Avenue. The impact of the crash caused the semi to overturn and come to rest on top of the second vehicle. At least one person was trapped inside and had to be extricated by firefighters. The man involved in the accident was transported to MetroHealth Hospital, where he died from his injuries. The Cleveland Police Department is investigating.
