Cleveland, OH (May 2, 2024) – A young child was transported to a local hospital with injuries following a crash that occurred on Wednesday evening in Cleveland. The Cleveland Police Department and firefighters were dispatched to the scene of the crash at around 7:35 p.m. on May 1.
According to area law enforcement, an 11-year-old boy was struck by a moped in the 9700 block of Orleans Avenue. The child was injured as a result of the accident. Paramedics were requested on-site to render aid to the young boy. The victim was then transported to UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s – University Hospitals for further medical care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
