Cleveland, OH (March 20, 2024) – On Monday morning, officers with the Cleveland Police Department were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that resulted in injuries. Calls for help came in at around 11:40 a.m. on March 18.
According to official reports, a white 2015 Toyota Yaris was heading southbound on Fulton Road. As the vehicle passed through the intersection at Denison Avenue, it collided with a northbound 2008 Volkswagen Beetle. The driver of the Volkswagen Beetle was attempting to make a left turn onto Denison at the time of the accident. One person was injured in the accident. Cleveland EMS responded to the scene to treat 72-year-old Tomas Martinez Vega. Vega was transported to Cleveland Clinic – Marymount Hospital for emergency care. At this time, investigations are underway.
