Cleveland Heights, OH (March 2, 2024) – A crash in the Cleveland Heights area on Thursday ended in injuries. The Cleveland Heights Police Department was dispatched to the scene just before 8:25 a.m. on February 29.
According to law enforcement reports, a white 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe was traveling westbound on Cedar Road during the morning hours. As the vehicle attempted to turn southbound onto Cottage Grove Drive, it pulled in front of a red 2021 vehicle, causing the vehicles to collide. The driver of the Hyundai Santa Fe was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield when making a left turn. The driver of the red vehicle, identified as 47-year-old Craig Hoffman, was injured in the crash. He was transported to a nearby emergency room for further care. Both vehicles were towed from the scene due to the extent of damage. Investigations surrounding the crash are ongoing.
