Canton Twp., OH (April 7, 2024) – The Ohio State Highway Patrol confirmed that 80-year-old John Dvorovy lost his life as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Canton Township on Thursday morning, April 4.
At around 9:30 a.m., Dvorovy was driving on Ed Stein Drive. As he attempted to turn northbound onto Ohio State Route 43, his vehicle was struck by a Jeep Cherokee. Dvorovy was severely hurt in the crash. He was briefly treated on-site and transported to a local hospital, where he passed away from his injuries. The driver of the Jeep was hurt and transported to a local hospital for medical care. At this time, investigations are underway.
