Canaan Twp., OH (April 22, 2024) – A major motor vehicle accident reported in Canaan Township ended in injuries. Calls for help were received at around 4:30 p.m. on April 20.
Official reports indicate that a Kia Forte and one additional vehicle collided on East Easton Road near Ohio State Route 3 (Cleveland Road). The incident prompted the closure of the roadway. Airbags deployed in at least one of the vehicles involved. Multiple children and adults were evaluated for injuries while at the scene. LifeFlight was requested to transport one victim to a local hospital for emergency care. At least two EMS units responded to the scene to treat multiple victims and transport them to area hospitals. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
