Brooklyn, OH (June 9, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Brooklyn area resulted in injuries. Authorities were called to the scene at around 12:05 p.m. on June 6.
Official reports indicate that a gray 2016 Honda and a gray 2005 Pontiac were both traveling eastbound on Northcliff Avenue. As the vehicle stopped at a traffic light near Ridge Road, a northbound 2018 Dodge attempted to make a left turn onto Northcliff Avenue when it collided with a white 2011 Kia. The impact of the crash pushed the Kia into the Pontiac. The Pontiac was then pushed into the gray Honda. Witnesses say that the driver of the Kia ran a red light at the intersection.
The incident resulted in injuries. Emergency medical services responded to the scene to care for 72-year-old Gregory Joseph Wolf. Brooklyn EMS transported Wolf to Metro Cleveland Hospital for emergency care. The driver of the Kia was cited for a red light violation. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
