Broadview Heights, OH (April 2, 2024) – A multi-vehicle accident reported in the Broadview Heights area ended in injuries. The crash was reported to the police at around 1:55 p.m. on Sunday, March 31.
According to law enforcement reports, a white 2020 Subaru Impreza, a gray 2018 Ford Escape, and another gray 2020 vehicle were all traveling west on East Royalton Road during the afternoon hours. As the Subaru Impreza and the Ford Escape stopped for traffic at a red light, the driver of the gray vehicle failed to maintain a clear distance from the vehicle ahead. As a result, the vehicle crashed into the rear of the Ford Escape.
Two people were injured in the crash. EMS rendered aid to 23-year-old Lecia Shylovets and 18-year-old Olivia Renee Moskalski while at the scene. Both victims were then transported to Metro Hospital for further care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
