Bratenahl, OH (March 16, 2024) – On March 15, emergency crews were requested at the scene of a motor vehicle accident that sent one person to a local hospital with injuries.
At around 3:15 p.m., a 2024 Chevrolet Trax was heading southbound on Eddy Road while occupying the left lane. At the same time, a second vehicle was exiting from the eastbound side of Interstate 90. As the vehicle entered the roadway, the second vehicle collided with the passenger side rear of the Chevrolet Trax. The impact of the crash caused the Chevrolet Trax to land on the sidewalk while facing northbound. The second vehicle involved in the accident fled the scene.
The Bratenahl Police Department and area firefighters responded to the scene to assist. One person was hurt in the accident. Cleveland EMS responded to the scene to treat 40-year-old Fiston Bahati. Bahati was transported to an area hospital for further care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
