Bedford, OH (June 5, 2024) – At around 8:20 a.m. on June 4, the Bedford Police Department was called to respond at the scene of a car crash that resulted in injuries.
Reports show that a white 2017 Hyundai Tucson was traveling westbound on Rockside Road in the middle lane. As the vehicle approached Center Lane, a black 2018 GMC Terrain was traveling eastbound on Rockside Road. At the intersection, the driver of the GMC Terrain failed to yield to the Hyundai Tucson. As a result, the two vehicles collided.
Two people were injured in the accident. Bedford Fire Department Squads 18 and 19 responded to the scene to render aid to 27-year-old Timothy James McKenzie and 26-year-old Dontez Lamar Moore. Moore was transported to UH Ahuja Medical Center for medical care, and McKenzie was transported to South Point Hospital. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
