Bedford Heights, OH (June 22, 2024) – Authorities were summoned to the site of a motor vehicle accident in the Bedford Heights area that ended in injuries. Authorities were informed of the crash at around 6:25 p.m. on June 20.
According to area law enforcement reports, a white 2021 Chevrolet crashed into the rear of a white 2019 Toyota while traveling on the southbound side of Interstate 271. The incident prompted the closure of the roadway near Rockside Road as emergency crews worked to remove the involved vehicles from the scene. Medical personnel rendered aid to the injured victims before transporting them to UH Ahuja Medical Center in Beachwood, OH. The victim was identified as 50-year-old Balbir Singh Raina. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
