Austintown, OH (March 13, 2024) – The Austintown Police Department confirmed that 66-year-old Linda Adams lost her life as a result of a pedestrian accident that occurred on Monday evening, March 11.
At around 8:00 p.m., Adams was walking near Lancaster Drive when she was struck by a white Ford pickup truck in the area of Carlisle Avenue. The vehicle fled the scene without stopping. At the time of the accident, Adams was walking with another person. Emergency crews were requested at the scene to render aid to her. However, Adams ultimately passed away due to the extent of her injuries. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
