Allen Twp., OH (March 13, 2024) – The Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on Tuesday morning in Ottawa County. The crash was reported at around 6:40 a.m. on March 12.
According to OSHP reports, 46-year-old Heather Musser was driving a Chevrolet Sonic east on Ohio State Route 579. As her vehicle proceeded through the area near Genoa Clay Center Road, it collided with a westbound vehicle. The impact of the crash caused Musser’s vehicle to become disabled. It was then struck by a third vehicle that was traveling east.
Musser sustained fatal injuries in the accident. Four other people were injured in the accident. The victims were rendered aid on-site before being transported to area hospitals for further care. At this time, the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating.
