Akron, OH – Crash on Arlington St Leaves One Person Hurt

Akron, OH (June 23, 2024) – The Akron Police Department was summoned to the scene of a car crash at around 12:45 p.m. on June 20.

According to official reports, a silver 2020 Chevrolet Equinox was traveling eastbound on West Wilbeth Road. As the vehicle approached the intersection of South Arlington Street, it collided with a silver 2014 Ford Explorer. The driver of the Explorer was exiting the driveway of the Litter Caesars Pizza restaurant near the 1100 block of the roadway. One person was hurt in the crash. Akron Fire Department EMS responded to the crash to render aid to 57-year-old Anthony Gene Stormer. Stormer was then transported to Akron City Hospital for further care. At this time, the crash is being investigated.
