Shaker Heights, OH (August 2, 2024) – Emergency crews were summoned to provide assistance at the scene of an automobile accident that occurred in the Shaker Heights area. The collision took place at around 1:55 p.m. on July 31.
Police reports indicate that a 2016 Audi A6 was traveling north on West Park Road during the afternoon hours. For unknown reasons, the driver of the vehicle failed to stop at a red light. As a result, the Audi crashed into a 2014 Dodge Caravan, which was traveling westbound on Shaker Boulevard. The Audi then collided with a 2020 Subaru Outback. The driver of the Audi was issued a citation for a red light violation. Two people in the Dodge Caravan, identified as 58-year-old Natalia Toth and 76-year-old John Bauswein, were both injured in the accident. They were transported to an area hospital for emergency care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
