Pepper Pike, OH (July 27, 2024) – Emergency officials were summoned to provide assistance on-site at a motor vehicle accident that ended in injuries. The crash occurred at around 3:30 p.m. on July 25.
According to official reports, a silver 2021 vehicle was traveling westbound on Chagrin Boulevard during the afternoon hours. As the vehicle approached the intersection of Lewis Road, it collided with a blue 2017 vehicle. Reports show that the driver of the blue vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign. The incident prompted the closure of the roadway. The driver of the silver vehicle, identified as 74-year-old Hollis Friedland, was injured in the crash. The victim was transported to Hillcrest Hospital for further care. The driver of the blue vehicle was cited for a right-of-way violation. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
